MSM Alumna and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion expert, Stephanie A. Smith and talks about race and how environment affects a person. As a biracial woman, Stefanie has toggled both Black and White cultures wrestling with not being "Black enough" or "White enough"—and finally learning that she fits in just right where she wants to be: Herself.
We're delighted to welcome back MSM Alumnus Mr. Viet Mai. Mr. Viet is a social innovation educator, and a brilliant Spoken Word artist. He joins us to talk about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, how he uses Clubhouse to invite safe environments for open, honest discussions around DEI, and how he feels when some moderators muzzle voices. Viet also shares a powerful poem a the top of the episode!
